America in a nutshell?
two things
(1) this man clearly has not gotten the memo that healthcare in jail is, while free for him, completely terrible. the entire healthcare workforce in jail is completely comprised of fledgling doctors or incompetent fucks, and his “undiagnosed lump” is probably going to get glanced at and received with “no idea, lol” hope he’s prepared to face the consequences of malpractice.
(2) is the legal system that stupid to not use rational thinking? it’s a dollar. he clearly wants to be arrested in the name of leeching off “free medical care”. he would have been better off robbing the 23,000 and paying for his insurance out-of-pocket and winding up with better quality healthcare (provided he got away with it). and if he didn’t get away with it, well, at least he landed that “free medical care” he was shooting for.
